Today we had the pleasure of dining at a truly beautiful location. The restaurant is set in a spot with a stunning view, which made the entire experience even more special. The interior design is stylish and welcoming, with great attention to detail and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The dishes were unforgettable – each one made with fresh, local ingredients and presented with care and creativity. Every plate was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. What truly completed the experience was the friendly and attentive staff. Warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. All in all, this restaurant was an absolute highlight of our vacation. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A real gem!

The food was absolutely excellent from start to finish. For the starter, we enjoyed a delicious beef tartare served with twisted butter and pâté – both beautifully presented and full of flavor. The main course was simply perfect, cooked to perfection and incredibly satisfying. To top it all off, the dessert was a sweet and delightful ending to a wonderful lunch.

We’ve tasted many tartare steaks in our life, but the one at Konoba Jakan is simply unmatched—perfectly balanced, rich yet refined, and bursting with flavor. We tried everything on the menu, and honestly, we couldn’t pick a favorite. Each dish is a masterpiece, deeply rooted in tradition yet elevated with modern finesse. After two visits in just one week, this place has earned its spot as our absolute favorite restaurant in Croatia. Konoba Jakan isn’t just a meal—it’s a memory, a celebration of authenticity, and a testament to what happens when passion meets culinary artistry.

The restaurant is excellent and has tremendous potential. The ambiance is beautiful, and the food selection is top-notch.The only remark would be that when preparing steak, the staff should ask how well done the guest prefers it. We also had fish, which was overcooked. The steak tartare is the best I’ve ever had. Additionally, some items from the menu are often unavailable, so it would be helpful if the staff informed guests about this at the beginning, to avoid choosing a dish that isn’t being served that day.

In this picturesque little community lies this hidden gem with its simple charm but with a big character. Based on tradition and local ingredients the food is prepared, cooked and served as art and the taste as a symphony on the palate. The simplicity turns this place to a magnificant enjoyment of the view and a tranquility. Far away from city stress and restaurants as on an assembly line. When we left this evening it was with a smile on the face but also in our soul. A feeling of satisfaction and calmness. Can’t wait until we come again.

This was more than just a restaurant; it's a storytelling experience at its finest. You can see and feel that attention was paid to even the smallest detail, from the ambiance to the service and the handcrafted menu. The tartare beefsteak was perfect, but the surprise was the "Gnudi od paške skute" appetizer that you can't miss. The Lamb Ragout as a main dish was also interesting and amazing; the best I've had anywhere, for sure. I can't recommend this place enough, but make sure you reserve your table first. They will turn down people without one.
